Don't Weep For Me

Please don't weep for me this day,
as I proudly gave all for my beloved USA
so that you my dear loved ones
and all of America's daughters and sons
could continue to enjoy the precious liberty
that was also blessed upon me
by those before ... who did the same
defending our great nation's name.

And now I am among these heroes all
who answered America's call
and bravely took the ultimate fall.

So, remember me for being there,
standing tall out of loving care
for what we all hold true
and pledge our allegiance to,
knowing that I am always with you
as I was for Old Glory's red, white, and blue.
